When starded with no option JSup will show the Application menu.
In production environment it's better to not show the Application menu, but to create a link to run the application.
Run JSup as a client
To create a link to run JSup in client mode:
- copy the standard JSup link (created in the Windows Starts menu when JSup was installed) where you want.
- edit the copied link and add the following parameters to its command line:
-clientOf <serverAddress>
where serverAddress is the IP addressor the DNS
hostname
of the host where the JSup server is running (to connect with a server instance that is running and the same PC/Server you can use 127.0.0.1 (as IP) or localhost (as hostname).
