The graphic editor normally show all the content of a window, but you can change this and make the editor to show only the content of a single binder.

Fucusing the view of graphic editor is useful to edit the content of a binder in a easy way, because you see only the binder content.

Focusing means to change the view base of the graphic editor.

How to change the view focus

When a single binder or a composite shapes is selected then it can be:

  • focused (with zoom) with the toolbar button or using menu View / Zoom composite object (Z key). The focused object is zoomed to fit the window area.
  • focused (no zoom) with the menu View / View only (Shift+O keys). The size/position of the content of the focused object is the same as in the window.

You can also focus recursively on sub binders to edit inner graphic objects.

When the view base is focused on a binder you can de-focus the view:

  • focus on previous binder with the toolbar button or using menu View / Zoom back on previous binder (Shift+Z keys). The binder that contains the current view base will be the new view base (and zoomed to fit the window area); if the current view base is contained directly by the window than the view will be not focused (normal view).
  • restore normal view with the toolbar button or menu View / Normal view (W key) to make the window the view base (as normal).
