[JSup domains|Shared] [JSup tag|tags] can be set retentive, so they will keep their values between [JSup application] run sessions.

This behaviour could be useful for [JSup application] level parameters.

Persistence data is stored in the SHARED.jpers file in the [JSup Historian|Historical] data dir (see [JSup Application properties#Main tab|JSup Application properties]), so the [JSup Historian|Historical] data dir must be set and must exist for tag retentiveness to work.
