JSup Application UID (Bozza)

The [JSup application] UID is an unique id generated when the application was created.

It must never change and it's used to identify the application to store some data in the app-UID directory under the [JSup data home directory]:

  • Alarm [JSup Alarm disabling|disabling]/[JSup Alarm suppression|suppression] configuration (the AlarmEnableSettings.jsup file).
  • Most recent used [JSup graphic windows|windows] in the [JSup Graphic editor|Graphic editor] (the mruWindows.jsup file).
  • The user configuration for the [JSup Security|Security system] (the users.jsup file).
  • Temporary files used by the [JSup Web interface|JSup Web server].

It is also used to store the application property in the app-UID.Properties file under the [JSup data home directory].
