Shared tags can be set retentive, so they will keep their values between JSup application run sessions.
This behaviour could be useful for JSup application level parameters.
Persistence data is stored in the SHARED.jpers file in the Historical data dir (see JSup Application properties), so the Historical data dir must be set and must exist for tag retentiveness to work.
