[JSup] can be installed as a [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Windows_service|Windows service]. In this mode the given [JSup application|application] is run in [JSup execution modes|server-only mode] (no user interface).
This [JSup execution modes|execution mode] is useful for:
* running the [JSup domains|shared domain] of [JSup] on an unattended server (in a server-room for example): the graphic user interface will run (when needed) on [JSup Command line options#Run JSup as a client|remote clients].
* having the [JSup domains|shared domain] always running, even when you are not running the JSup graphic user interface. In this way the [JSup] service always stores [JSup Trend|trend data], [JSup Alarm history|archives alarms], [Invio email allarmi da JSup|sends alarm emails] (if requested) and so on. The [JSup Command line options#Run JSup as a client|JSup client] can be run when you need the view/edit something.
