It must '''never change''' and it's used to identify the application to store some data in the <TT>app-''UID''</TT> directory under the [JSup data home directory]:
 * Alarm [JSup Alarm disabling|disabling]/[JSup Alarm suppression|suppression] configuration (the <TT>AlarmEnableSettings.jsup</TT> file).
 * Most recent used [JSup graphic windows|windows] in the [JSup Graphic editor|Graphic editor] (the <TT>mruWindows.jsup</TT> file).
 * The user configuration for the [JSup Security|Security system] (the <TT>users.jsup</TT> file).
 * Temporary files used by the [JSup Web interface|JSup Web server].

It is also used to store the application property in the <TT>app-''UID''.Properties</TT> file under the [JSup data home directory].
